Text Box: In truth, I’m an unabashed romantic. I love happy endings, I love the lessons of history, I love the beauty of the world around me and I love the concept that an idea will not exist unless you create it in reality. All of these inspirations find their way into my work in some way blending into what I think of as modern romanticism.

I always knew I wanted to be a designer. It started for me when I was little. I would spend hours sketching or, my favourite thing, designing my own wardrobe for my Princess Diana paper doll. As I grew older I came to understand that what I spent my time doing was called ‘design’. Now, as an emerging designer in Toronto, I’m enjoying focusing my passion for the imagination in unique and timeless jewellery.

My academic journey began with degrees in Anthropology and Fine Art from the University of Toronto. Shortly after graduation - on went the business suit - which left very little time for creative aspirations. In time though, I came to realize that I wasn’t in the right place; I wasn’t happy.

Inspired in part by my best friend, I enrolled in the George Brown Jewellery Methods Program graduating in 2006. In April 2007 I partnered with that best friend and now colleague Kim Drosdick to open our own jewellery studio and boutique, Flux + Form.

Today, I create wearable pieces and custom designs using precious metals and gemstones. I really enjoy building relationships with my clients, working within their budget, from the initial design consultation through to the final beautiful product.

Now I’m in the right place.
